Webinar: COVID-19’s impact on patient engagement in East Asia
By Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) 02 July 2020
4. Virtual Background

Patient engagement is increasingly recognised as an integral part of healthcare as engaged patients are better able to make informed decisions for managing their health. As the world adapts to COVID-19 as the new normal, patient organisations are focused now more than ever on ensuring continuity of support to patient groups affected by this pandemic. Where healthcare resources are over-stretched during this crisis, support is presented in the form of maintaining and improving engagement and communication to ensure patients continue to have access to healthcare.

To begin the conversation, patient group leaders from various ASEAN countries have been invited to share their perspectives on the challenges faced and discuss solutions to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Patient Engagement.
