I am intelligent, confident, highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and disciplined with a very strong work ethic. I am quick on my feet and task-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple large-scale projects with competing timelines. In every endeavor, personal or professional, I strive for maximum quality and efficiency, consistently seeking ways to improve systems and processes. When appropriate, I take the initiative to go beyond the expected parameters of a job. I have excellent oral and written communication skills, both of which have allowed me to present and compose quality correspondence, reports, articles, newsletters and memorandum. I am capable of both leading teams and being an effective team member. I have the analytical skills to diagnose problems, visualize potential barriers to success and devise creative and viable solutions. I have served as a resource to colleagues and co-workers seeking insight and inspiration in creative problem solving. My ability to remain unflustered during frenzied periods and when confronted with competing priorities and demands confirms my capacity to work well under pressure. However, I am not above seeking advice, counsel and critical feedback from mentors when necessary.
I am a student in the George Washington University Masters in Public Health Marketing and Communication program. I matriculated in the spring of 2013 with plans to graduate in 2015.
Personally, I'm a secular humanist, a devout liberal and believe wholeheartedly in mindfulness, presence, being awake and participating in my life.
