University degree in Law (University of Barcelona, Spain), Master Degree in Communications Management (University of Toulouse, France), teacher assistant at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, USA. She has developed her career initially in the field of marketing and technology transfer, first as product manager for mass market products at Arbora&Ausonia (Procter&Gamble joint venture) and, from 2001 to 2012 at the University Pompeu Fabra and Fundació IMIM (Municipal Institute of Medical Research), where she was responsible for promoting contracts with industrial partners and quality procedures at the Research Group on Biomedical Informatics. She has worked as project manager of the European Projects Coordination Office (EPCO) at Fundació IMIM. Besides the general project management aspects, her participation in European projects focuses on legal matters, governance, intellectual property rights and communication and valorisation issues.
She has participated in several initiatives to commercialise results from research projects, including the creation of alliances and spin-outs.
She has wide experience in teaching courses in European projects management and acts as an advisor for several public and private institutions in projects evaluation and assessment.
