I've worked in the healthcare area coordinating health awareness and policy projects on the national and European level as a part of an umbrella patient organisation and an MS charity. I have always been a medical affairs enthusiast and a firm believer in health innovations and technologies that can revolutionize the provision of care. This is why, in 2017 I joined FindMeCure with my biggest dream to help at least one person or save at least one life while working on my desk each day. Supporting patients to find and join clinical trials in order to have access to promising new treatments has become my mission in life.
I am currently managing FindMeCure Foundation aiming to raise awareness about clinical trials among patients, caregivers and patient organisations through a variety of projects, initiatives and tools, including FindMeCure tool matching patients to the most suitable studies near them. I am responsible for providing support and knowledge to patient advocacy groups and empower them to be active participants in the drug development process. Our organisation is now trusted by many EU and worldwide organizations and my role is to make sure their valuable insights stay in the core of our decisions, plans and activities.
I am experienced with working closely with patients, healthcare professionals, researchers and industry. Thanks to that, I have identified key hurdles in their interaction that influence the whole process which need to be considered and addressed. Patient engagement in research is something we are fully encouraging and contributing to.
