Dr.Oana Bernard-Poenaru is the Patient Officer Clinical development R&D at Servier since 2018, she is now committed to bringing patients’ voice and experiences to clinical teams, filling this important gap at the stakeholders’ strategic discussion table, and working towards patient-friendly clinical development programs.
Dr.Oana Bernard-Poenaru has an MD from Faculty of Medicine of Clermont-Ferrand – University of Auvergne I France with a specialty in “Medical Biology” and a Ph.D. in “Osteoarticular biology, biomechanics, and biomaterials”.
She worked seven years in University hospitals in Paris as Specialist Assistant in Endocrinology Lab / Biophysics Department ( Lariboisière Hospital) and Biochemistry department ( Georges Pompidou European Hospital), where she had a triple activity of routine lab measurements, teaching, and research.
She has extensive experience in international clinical development from early stages ( Director of translational erase arch from early clinical aspects ( 2016/2018 : Director Translational and Clinical Research Metabolism) up to late stages and filing for registration (2010 /2016 : Director of the Clinical Development Metabolism).
