About the organization
3CTN is the only Canadian network of cancer centres that provides core funding support for institutions, investigators, and trials teams to conduct multi-centre, academic cancer clinical trials (ACCTs) on its Portfolio as well as incentive funding to support accrual. In addition to funding, 3CTN facilitates new trial development, ensures best practice standards for trial management, and supports initiatives to improve performance and address challenges within the clinical trial environment. The overarching aim is to ensure that Canada continues as a world leader in cancer clinical trials, there are increased opportunities for patients to receive promising new treatments, and that cancer outcomes continue to improve through the conduct of ACCTs.
